In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we gather today and the lands across Gariwerd, the Grampians National Park.

We recognise the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Japagulk peoples of the northern areas, and the Djab Wurrung, Jardwadjali, Gunditjmara and Eastern Maar peoples of the central and southern areas of Gariwerd.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge their continuing connection to this land, its waterways, its stories and its culture, which have existed here for thousands of years.
