Do I need to bring water?
Yes & No. We did stop proving single use water bottles due to the volume of plastic at the end of the day. You can bring your own water bottle however venues we visit do have water available for free.
Plus if you wish to add a water pouch during the check out process we will provide you with a reusable water pouch for $5pp filled with rain water.
Can we do the tour with just 1 or 2 people?

Yes you can join any tour already going, if you are just 1 person, you may join a tour that is already running however we will not run a tour for just 1 person. In low season tours may not always operate. Just message us/email us to find out.

Children - Can they join a tour?
​
Children 6-17 years are charged at the child rate during the booking process. Children 2-5 are charged at the infant rate. Children under 2 years are not recommended to join our public tours - however if booking a private tour we are happy to accommodate the whole family.

We understand the price of a child to join the tour may be high however we offer a small group touring and the child will still be occupying a full paying adult seat.
I need just a transfer around the town or up into the Grampians.
​
Sure - we accommodate transfers when ever possible including to/from the Grampians Peaks Trail. Check out the pricing and details here.

Where do we meet?
​
All ride experiences we will pick you up from your accommodation in Halls Gap.
​
All history walking tours meet at the Information centre in Halls Gap.
​

Is BYO or drinking on the tour bus allowed? Or before a tour?
​
No unfortunately BYO and drinking on the tour bus are not permitted. Smoking is also prohibited.
​
We strongly recommend not drinking alcohol drinks before joining a tour. Any heavy intoxicated passengers will result in the tour ending with no refund given.
Can I bring my dog?​
Yes & No. Depends on experience destination. NO dogs allowed into the Grampians National Park.
for experiences that do not go into the NP we try to accommodate dogs. If you have a large dog we are not able to accommodate. If you have a small to medium size dog we are happy for you to bring them on wine & silo art tours. However please advise us in advance to discuss. Your dog might have be outside the cellar doors during your wine tasting and any excessive hair or mess may incur an additional cleaning fee of $50.
I have specific or special needs - can you accommodate?

We will always try our best. Please phone or email us with your specific requirements so we can discuss to ensure we can cater for you. Some areas are out of our control but we are happy to be flexible and accommodating as much as possible to ensure all passengers can have a great time with us.
Can I book out the whole Bus?
​
Hens/Bucks/Work parties, whatever your occasion yes you can hire out the whole bus, we would love to share in your celebration. We can cater for up to 22 on one bus. Email us with your questions to discuss this further. Please note deposit requirements when booking tours for 10 people or more with full payment required 72 hours before departure date..
Is there an option to have a special treat for the birthday/hen/special person?

Yes we can organise a gift bag for a special person. This also requires three days notice and is $100 per bag. The bag may include wine and wine accessories.
Additionally you can arrange for the birthday person to have a big piece of cake - see this option during the check out process.

Can I purchase a gift certificate ?
​
Yes, we have gift certificates available, which are valid for 36 months. We can email or mail in the post a gift certificate to yourself or to the lucky person receiving this fun experience. Or you can order the gift certificate online.

I want the lunch tour - but I have dietary requirements?
​
No problems. We can cater for dietary requirements when told in advance. Just inform us during your booking process.
Is it possible to have a celebratory cake provided?
​
Want to surprise a friend on your tour with a celebration cake? Send us an email or give us a call and we can discuss what we can provide and costings. You can on most tours pre order during our check out process a piece of cake with a happy birthday message to be presented to the birthday person.

What is the dress code?
​
Dress code can be as casual or dressed up as you like. Special events such as Hen's parties may even have a dress-up theme, this too is okay and we encourage it! Please consider the weather and appropriate foot wear depending what you are booking with us.
I do not want to book online - can I just book and pay on the day?
​
If you wish to pay cash on the day just phone us to discuss. Groups of 10 or more must pay a deposit to secure your booking - with a charge of $100 per vehicle booked.
Can I add extras when booking?
​
Yes - during the booking process you will be asked if you wish to add:
- Piece of Cake to celebrate something special

Can we play our own music during our tour?​
There is bluetooth capability and USB on the bus. Or we are happy to provide a selection of music to choose from. Please discuss this with our staff prior so we can ensure the best atmosphere for your tour.
What vineyards/cellar doors do you visit?​
We visit all the locally owned and operating vineyards in the Region. We have our standard main vineyards, however a substitute may be used on occasion. We believe in supporting locally owned locations only including Best's Wines, Fallen Giants, Pomonal Estate, Grampians Estate & Miners Ridge.

I have a group and we already have a driver and bus, but would love a local guide to show us around?

We can provide a guide for the Grampians National Park, Silo Art Trail, history walking tour or for the vineyards please click here.
How many people will be on the bus?
​
We will have a maximum of 11 people on each standard tour that is advertised. On high demand days/weekends we may have a maximum of two buses with 11 passengers in each running side by side on the tour, making it 22 people - however this is usually only done by request for large groups.

Is it possible to purchase wine/products at the locations?
​
Yes, all purchases are at your own expense and there is room on the bus for most purchases. However if your purchase is large you might have to arrange alternate shipping methods - which the vineyards are happy to help with.
At the end of the tour I just want to be dropped in town - how do I get back to my accommodation?
​
We can drop you in Halls Gap at the end of the tour however unless you are in walking distance there is no transport options in Halls Gap. Maybe meet a friendly local and hitch a ride?
How far in advance must I book?
​
With tours we accept bookings for all public tours up to 3 hours before departure online or phone us if under 3 hours. However weekends and popular time frames can book out weeks and months in advance.
Can I design my own wine tour or request particular locations to visit?
​
Yes, we are happy to custom design a wine tour with certain request to visit particular location/s. Many people have done our current wine tours and would like something different - we are able to provide many options, just email us and ask.
What do I need to bring?
​
Just your sunglasses, a jacket/coat, wallet/purse and phone. Plus a bottle of water Plus anything else that you would normally require as a necessity during the day (ie: medication, reading glasses etc)
